Each one has a different style, and wanted to make sure the individual shots of the film reel were very visible so that i could add text to them later on. Out of the 4 i looked at, i liked the second image the most, as i thought it looked old style (as a film reel should) and there is plenty of room for the lettering afterwards.
So the image i chose was this;
After this one went as i wanted it to, i copied and pasted it onto the other squares of the film reel...
When i added these images to the top and bottom square it got rid of the faced effect at each side, so i used the painting tool to create the effect over the top of the image.
The next thing i had to think about was the font of the logo. I know that i wanted to be the name of our film company to be 'E.B.A.C Productions', but i didn't really know what kind of font i wanted. Then i thought to keep with the old fashioned film style i could take the font most commonly used for the countdown scene in B&W films.
At first i thought the font would look like this.
To find this i went onto Youtube to find the countdown shot, pause the shot and try to match up the font with one on Photoshop.
And this became the end result of my film company loge :)
